Chris’s Story

Originally from North Bay, Ontario, Chris moved to Newfoundland in 1996 and joined the volunteer fire department in Marystown. Inspired by his commitment to helping others, he completed the Pre-Service Firefighting Program at the Marine Institute’s Offshore Safety and Survival Centre, moved back to Ontario and began his firefighting career in 1997 with Waterloo Fire Rescue.

Through responding to emergencies, Chris recognized the importance of medical training and became heavily involved in First Aid education. He joined the fire department’s First Aid Committee, became a certified Red Cross Instructor, and developed a passion for teaching practical, engaging life-saving skills.

In 2000, Chris founded Diamond Medical Services with a single dental office as his first client, a relationship that continues today. Through dedication, quality training, and a customer-focused approach, the company has grown to serve organizations across Southern Ontario.
